About the yoga...

Pregnancy is a beautiful, messy, crazy journey, with ups and downs and all arounds. Connect to your journey into motherhood, with Prenatal Yoga at Common Earth Studio. A yoga focused on loving devotion to ourselves, to our baby, and to our lives.

This is a time of self exploration, as our physical self expands, so does our internal world. A time to explore what it feels like to be pregnant, and connect with baby in mindful and loving movements. While not necessarily an easy time! Classes will accommodate to pregnancy needs, so rest assured snacks and water bottles are most welcome.

Course Content includes:

~ Supported Meditations and Visualisations

~ Active Pranayama (Breathwork)

~ Asana for Labour Preparation (Postures)

~ Vinyasa Movement flows to shift your energy

~ Active Birthing Techniques

~ Coping with Pain Techniques

~ Restorative Relaxations

Come calm the mind, sway in nourishing movements, connect with baby, and create the space to welcome this magical transition into your life. Creating the time to yoga, a time to honour the birth of the mother, and too, the child.

About the teacher...

Ash is a local mumma to a fierce 4yo, and investigative 2yo. She completed her 350 hour YTT between pregnancies and babies, spending more time on the mat pregnant or post natal than not while in training. This time was such a transformational journey, as a mother and a woman. Since her initial teacher training Ash has completed 50hrs of specialty pre/postnatal yoga training with Bliss Baby.

Ash is passionate about creating a loving space to welcome new life, practicing self care, whether physically, mentally or spiritually, and sharing the magic of yoga. She can't wait to welcome you to your mat to start this new chapter of integrating self-care and motherhood.
